Trail description
Jack and the Beanstalk is a meandering, well-graded uphill trail that offers great views back down Kahuterawa Valley. It winds its way via switchbacks and stream crossings until it crosses Farside Road. Once across Farside Road, the trail continues back into new growth forest as it continues alongside Arapuke Road up to the top of the park.
Getting there
This trail is accessed via Checkpoint Charlie, which starts from the culvert at the top of Pupu Rahi. These trails flow together to make up the Grade 3 climb to the top of the park.
Getting out
It takes you to the park summit, so the choice is yours!
