Ride to the top
We know it’s a slog to the top of Arapuke and with all our great trails you want to maximise your downhill time.
That’s why MMBC runs shuttles at on a pay-for-use basis.
The club aims to cover its costs only and keeps the shuttle price as reasonable as possible. We also try to offer pick up from two locations in town!
Shuttle cost is $25 per member per session and $40 for non-members.
During the summer we try to run shuttles every Thursday evening from 4.30-8pm and on many weekend days, from 1-4.30pm.
During the rest of the year, we try to run shuttles on the weekend when the weather allows.
We announce shuttle dates through social media and the membership section of this website. Your best bet is to follow MMBC on Facebook and Instagram.

Want to do a good thing for local mountain bike riders?
We love it when generous local businesses (or individuals) cover the cost of the shuttle for a session. These sessions are open to MMBC members only and are branded with your name.
It’s great for riders who don’t have spare cash for the shuttles and it’s a great way for businesses to promote themselves to our riders.

Got a P-licence?
All of our drivers are volunteers and all of them have P licences.
This is a cool way to help out the club. For most shuttle sessions, we have two drivers who split the shift. Each one drives for half the time and rides (for free!) for half the time. And if they have kids riding, the kids get to ride the shuttle for free, too.
