DESCRIPTION:Sam from ‘Sam’s Place’ (previously Crank It Cycles bike technician) will be running four workshops on bike maintenance. These will be done at Sam’s Place at 119 Rangiora St\, Roslyn from 5:45pm to 7:15pm starting on Tuesday 20 May. \n\n\n\nSam will cover:20 May – Tyres\, tubes\, puncture repair and of course tubeless. Bring a wheel to practice with or your bike if you need some tips for removing it from the bike.27 May – Chains\, gears\, lubing\, cleaning repairing broken chains.3 June – Brakes\, cleaning pads\, rotors (the trail side brake bleed).10 June – You bring the questions\, general or specific to your bike. \n\n\n\nWhen you register for 20 May\, you will be enrolled in the full series. \n\n\n\nMin age 14 years old.Limited to 6 people\, so first in first served. MMBC members only! \n\n\n\n

DESCRIPTION:Thursday 15 January Members-only Club Shuttles\n\n\n\n\n\nClub Fun Days are great opportunities for families and riders who are new to mountain biking (or to our riding areas). They are perfect for those who just want to hang out and ride with other people. Fun Days are low-key and high-fun! Bring food for a picnic lunch. If you have kids\, all the better – bring them\, too. \n\n\n\nThere will be ride guides to introduce you to the Grade 2 and 3 trails. If you attended the Thursday skills sessions at Hardie Reserve\, this is a great opportunity to see your coaches and refresh what you learned. \n\n\n\n\nWhere are Club Fun Days?\n\n\n\n\n\nArapuke MTB Park\n\n\n\nMeet at the car park at the top of Scotts Road – turn off SH 57 a couple clicks past Linton. Take Scotts Road to the end; it is sealed part of the way and then metal for about 7k. Suitable for 2WD. \n\n\n\n\n\nFoxton MTB Trails @ Target Reserve\n\n\n\nMeet in the car park off SH1. The entrance is marked with a sign for the mountain bike trails. Follow the signs to the parking area.  \n\n\n\n\n\nIf you have kids who are keen to ride but you’d rather not\, this is a great opportunity. They can ride with others and you can help out with the picnic! \n\n\n\nKeep an eye on social media\, The Dropper Post and All the Dirt for announcements of dates and locations.
