DESCRIPTION:Manawatu Mountain Bike Club is holding an Arapuke Open Day on Sunday the 17th of November. We will be based near the park summit at the Scotts Rd. carpark. \nThis is an awesome chance for first time riders\, kids\, families and novice riders to get out and explore the amazing trails at Arapuke. We will provide some guided tours and recommendations on trails that will suit your experience and ability. \nIf you have young children\, we would recommend that you drive up Scotts Rd. There is about a 25min gravel road section\, but it will take you up to the top car park and at the summit of the park. This means you are right next to the easy Grade 2 and Grade 3 beginner trails. \nThere are trails suitable for you children on runner bikes\, but best suited to those who are confident at pedalling\, starting and stopping their bikes. SUMMARY:2019 MMBC Club Championships
DESCRIPTION:All MMBC members and interested riders are encouraged to come and ride the MMBC Club Champs. There will be races for all grades from Mites to Vet 4\, including Rec Mens and Womens grades with courses to suit each grade. This is an event for the whole family from recreational riders looking to ride our fantastic Arapuke trails with other club members to hardened racers. \nThere are trophies for all grades from Under 13 up and certificates for the Mites\, Under 11s and Recreation grades\, so come along and get your hands on a piece of silverware to show off for the next year. \nEvent Details:\nTiming: Mites/U11 and Under 13 – 1:30 am\nAll other grades = 1:30 pm \nEntry Fees: All MMBC or Wanganui Club Members $5 or $10 per\nfamily\nNon-members $10 or $20 per family \n
