DESCRIPTION:Manawatu Mountain Bike Club is holding an Arapuke Open Day on Sunday the 17th of November. We will be based near the park summit at the Scotts Rd. carpark. \nThis is an awesome chance for first time riders\, kids\, families and novice riders to get out and explore the amazing trails at Arapuke. We will provide some guided tours and recommendations on trails that will suit your experience and ability. \nIf you have young children\, we would recommend that you drive up Scotts Rd. There is about a 25min gravel road section\, but it will take you up to the top car park and at the summit of the park. This means you are right next to the easy Grade 2 and Grade 3 beginner trails. \nThere are trails suitable for you children on runner bikes\, but best suited to those who are confident at pedalling\, starting and stopping their bikes.
